Trying to cash in on purchased names

They have been continously harrassing me for over 2 years stating that I owe my University unpaid expenses. I called my university and asked if I did still owe money (despite having a diploma on my wall) and they said I was paid in full. I then asked why I was being called by conserve AM. I was told that there was a mistake over 8 years ago when they thought I still owed money and my name was in a database, but then removed. I called Conserve AM and they stated they purchased my name and that I still owed the money. I said that I had contacted the university and the person on the other end become rude and said if I didn't pay they would be taking to me court and charging me extra fines, that would more than double the amount. Again, i stated the university said they did not hire this company to retrieve any owed monies. The gentleman on the phone said this was being recorded and that I had plead guilty and the next letter I received would be a court date. I hung up on him.
