This firm tried to collect a debt THEY said we owed. I asked for validation, but of course, nothing. A few months later we got a letter saying they would settle for 60% of the alleged debt. The letter also stated that we had judgment against us for the entire amount.(16,000) We asked where, when and why we were NOT notified about any Court proceedings. They decided that the letter had been sent by "mistake" and wanted it back. We said, "no". They demanded we return the letter. We said "no". Last we ever heard from them. This happened around 2006-2007. We still have the letter. Some group named UNIFUND CCR PARTNERS then tried, but gave up.(same alleged debt) By-the-way, anybody know anything about PHARIA LLC? Seems like we've been targeted again, same alleged debt.
